I had the privilege of personally visiting Rugna Seva Mandal Trust's Jai Balaji Madhyamik Vidyalay, the school set up and run by the Takane Family in Methi Village, Dhule District. I am absolutely amazed and awestruck by what they have achieved. They have actually managed to bring to village children, an education that any large city in India would be proud of. As a result, the sustained upliftment and prosperity that they have brought to the region is immeasurable. I wish that they are given the strength and the resources to continue this stellar work.
The Jai Balaji Madhyamik Vidyalaya at Village Methi, Taluka Sindhkheda, District Dhule which runs under the auspices of the 'Rugna Seva Mandal Trust' was set up by Shri Gajanan Takane, a police officer by profession, who out of his sheer passion found time in his busy schedule to educate the children of his village in the remote backward tribal area of district Dhule. My first visit to Jai Balaji School was around 3 years ago. Meeting Mr. Takane was accidental or may be destiny. A casual chat with him got me interested in the School his father had set up and was now being managed by the son, Mr. Nitin Takane. Three years ago, I could not have dreamt of being a part of Jai Balaji School, Methi village, an area which I could not even locate on the map.
